"A New York Love Story" Wedding Inspiration from Roey Mizrahi

It's no surprise that here at Merci, we're suckers for all things New York!  The streets, the scenery, the people and everything in between inspire just about everything we do.  So when event designer Roey Mizrahi shared her idea of a "Love" photo shoot around the city, we just had to take a peek!  As an avid lover of NYC, Roey drew inspiration from the elements that tell love stories all around us ~ we cannot get enough of all the details incorporated into the shoot!

"The concept of this shoot was to embrace love: Love the couple has for one another and love for New York City.  We also wanted to highlight the reds and pinks {the colors that most associate with love} as well as romantic black and whites," said Mizrahi.

"I wanted to showcase that New York is a beautiful backdrop alone.  Besides the chosen Hotel Ganesvoort, the additional locations for the shoot were not previously decided upon, I knew the area and knew that it would lend itself to amazing scenery for the shot.  From the frozen yogurt truck, to the swings, to the brownstones and the High Line...Even the bystanders cheering from their car and stopping to lend their congratulations made for unique photos!" said Mizrahi.
