Rain, rain, go away...actually wait! Who said rainy days make for bad photos? Not us. We absolutely love these rainy day shots in Central Park, taken by Sofia Negron. Sarah and Al have adapted to a long distance relationship, so why shouldn't they be able to adapt to a little rain here and there?
After being set up on a blind date and {reluctantly} agreeing, both Sarah and Al knew they wanted to spend more time together. However, Sarah wasn't ready for a long distance relationship. Their first date {post-setup} consisted of Sarah listing reasons why Al shouldn't want to date her..."It's not you, it's me"... They sat on a bench on the Chicago River for hours debating why it would and wouldn't work.
"Al says he knew I was the one after the first date, but it took me about two years to figure out just what I was missing! {I'm a slow learner}" said Sarah.
In 2011, Al surprised Sarah by proposing to her on the exact bench at the Chicago River. She was so surprised because that morning she had actually asked if they could start ring shopping together... little did she know that Al was one step ahead of her! The first words out of her mouth were, "I'm so confused!" quickly followed by a yes!
