With spring having sprung we SO cannot wait to take a stroll across the Brooklyn bridge, so it was absolutely fitting when our lovely and talented friend Kat Harris of Mike Colon Photography sent Kathryn and John's Brooklyn engagement shoot our way. We instantly adored the lovebirds strolling across the bridge, perched beside fountains, canoodling on park benches and city streets... Check out the beautiful e-session {and Kathryn's perfectly coiffed locks...}, tres chic!
From the Photographer {Kat Harris}:
"When Kathryn and I chatted for the first time on the phone, months ago, I knew we would be friends. She is so genuine, and easy to talk to {and she has like the prettiest hair ever}! I could not wait to get to the East Coast to meet and take some pictures of them. Even though we'd never met or seen each other, as soon as they walked into the coffee shop in Brooklyn I knew it was them.John, Kathryn and I ventured around Brooklyn talking about life, them telling me stories about growing up on the East Coast, and stories of how they met. Even though they had lived 15 minutes from the city for most of their lives, either of them had been to Brooklyn Bridge! So we decided to hike our way to the bridge, talk, laugh, and enjoy the wonderful NYC fall afternoon. In-between the lines and in-between the stories I could so easily tell that these two were such a good fit. They need each other in the best of ways, and I feel excited at what the future has in store for these two!"
