Happy Halloween, lovelies! Today I thought I would try something new and strike up a Bridal Style Q&A series on the blog, similar to my fashion etiquette posts on brides.com {check them out here}.  And, in the honor of all things bewitchingly chic, I'm beginning with black...
Last week, I sat down with a bride who is planning to wear Vera Wang's stunning Jacqueline Gown for her wedding. Obviously, the stylist in me jumped for joy.  The corseted Chantilly lace gown was my favorite of Vera's Fall 2012 runway, and I felt uber-lucky to have a client who was confident enough to wear it in its runway colorway.  But after I left the meeting, my mind began to race... How would we accessorize the dress?  Or perhaps more universally, how would I style a bride who loved the look, but couldn't quite gather the gusto to wear a black wedding dress on her big day?

So... in the wake of all things hurricane Sandy, I hunkered down and started a little style file of my own:  My Top 10 Black Accessories for The Chic {but not-so-bold} Bride.
From a Miu Miu goat hair shawl, to Dolce and Gabbana black lace gloves, or even our very own petite python clutch... the above accessories can turn an otherwise understated white wedding dress into a fabulously styled outfit.  {That is to say, if you aren't wearing Jacqueline}...
I'm dying to know... Would you wear any of these black accessories on your wedding day?
xx,
Jackie Weppner of Merci New York
