Merci: We love the concept of Twenty Pages... What inspired you to develop the brand?
Vincent: Twenty Pages was born from the needs of our own wedding in France – we wanted to share a little bit about us, our story, and of course, the big day logistics with our guests.
Since we had a destination wedding, it was hard to convey all the information to our guests in a fun and simple way. We searched high and low and considered all the things that couples were doing – from email to wedding websites but still felt that it still didn’t quite fit our needs. So we created our magazine and the guests loved how fun AND practical it was! Many guests found it incredibly useful – from the maps to the ‘top things to do’ to the ‘what to wear’ section. It made their experience much more enjoyable and stressful free and in turn had a wonderful time at the wedding – which was what we wanted!
Vincent: For me, I love to see/hear people’s reaction when they receive their magazines. It’s really their story told in a fun way.
Vincent: We draw
inspiration from many different sources but primarily from our customers,
professional magazines, wedding blogs and design websites. All our designers
are based in Paris and their work is naturally inspired by the latest trends in
France but they also keep a close eye on what is going on in the US.
We currently
have three magazine styles: Whim
was designed for the timeless romantic in all of us, Spark was inspired by
of-the-moment French fashion magazines and meant for those who love to be on
the cutting edge, and Jolie has a vintage and nostalgic feel.
Vincent: Our company
began right here in New York in 2011 but all our designers are based in Paris,
France. Interested
couples can find and start designing their own magazines right on our website: www.twentypages.com. www.twentypages.com
I found all your wedding magazines are exciting to me.
