Getting married is something every little girl envisions in her head at some point ~ the dress, the ring, the flowers...the groom. But what about the boys? Do they sit and daydream in class about how they will one day get down on one knee and propose to their one true love? We like to think so!
So when Steve sent us his adorable engagement story, we couldn't wait to share it. Paired with the equally aww-worthy photos done by the very talented, Stephanie Murphy of AFMPHOTO, the shoot is delicate with a sharp New York skyscraper edge.
Keeping in their tradition, Dale and Steve attended NBC's Christmas Tree Lighting in beautiful Rockefeller Center, with access to a private party and behind the scenes locations! {How fun!}
Groom-to-be, Steve said, "My plan was to propose down on the ice of the skating rink once the tree was lit. For anyone who doesn't know Dale, she is a very slow eater. Unfortunately, by the time she finished her dinner, the rink was full and security didn't allow anyone else out onto the ice."
Thankfully, Steve convinced Dale to go watch the lightning from her office balcony that overlooked the plaza. They made it just in time for the lighting!
Up high, over looking the crowded Rockefeller Center with that year's newly lit tree, Dale accepted Steve's proposal. "There were snipers up there, overlooking Rockefeller Plaza ~ they witnessed the proposal and were all very congratulatory," said Steve.
What a sweet story behind the fun photos!
