Creative, fun, and wonderfully beautiful, Dana and Rich's Capitale wedding capitivated us from the moment photographer Danny Weiss sent it our way. From the bride's upbeat attitude to all the stunning details, this was one swoon fest of a New York City wedding! |
The groom wore a tuxedo from Michael Andrews Bespoke with a purple lining and purple tie from Saks. {Note: each gentleman finished their look with a pair of matching purple socks}.
The stunning chuppah sat at the end of a white rose petal and candle-laden aisle, and was composed of all white flora and birch branches. Dana's bouquet was a simple cluster of Picasso calas {the hint of purple at the base tied into the couple's colorstory perfectly}.
We absolutely adore the below photo of the two lovebirds! So stylish, city chic, and stunning pops of color... Bride Dana notes, "My favorite photo is the two of us kissing in front of the Brooklyn Bridge, where we took some of our portraits. The photo would be amazing without us in it, it looks like a postcard. The picture makes me feel like we are part of New York."

From the bride: On my 28th birthday I had planned to go out to dinner with a bunch of friends. I told Rich that I would come home early so that we could celebrate just the two of us. When I got home Rich had the apartment covered in rose petals and candles. He got down on one knee and proposed. He then had dinner plans that night for the two of us {apparently all of my friends knew from the start that the dinner wasn't real} and planned an amazing day of celebration the following day. A message, a boat ride around Manhattan, dinner at a beautiful restaurant on the water and ended the day with a party with all of our friends. It was an amazing day!
Best piece of wedding advice: I don't know that I am laughing about it now, but we had a theft at our wedding. Sometime between the reception ending and the after party ending someone came into the bridal suite and stole all of our valuables. This included my brand new Judith Leiber bag that I had to put down, our digital camera which had all of our pictures from the rehearsal dinner, bridesmaids jewelry, cash, etc. It was really unfortunate and put a huge damper on the end of the night. Regardless, the evening was perfect and we didn't let it ruin anything! My advice would be to insist on a safe to store your valuables.
