Tuesday Shoesday | "Marie Antoinette" from Royal Couture Shoes

Merci New York Tuesday Shoesday Marie Antoinette Shoe Royal Couture
It's certainly no surprise I love shoes {what girl doesn't?!}. But do you know what I rather despise? Shoe shopping.
I know that might sound silly or even a little bratty, but the process of picking shoes, hunting down the sales person, trying them on, and then hunting him down again for new sizes... Well, it takes time! Energy! Chutzpah, even. But then I stumbled upon Amanda Hill's darling little Etsy shop "Royal Couture Shoe Boutique"... and yes my loves, my dreams were answered.

Here's the deal: The shop just opened and it's lightly stocked, style-wise, BUT... every design is completely customizable and every shoe is made to order, to the exact specs of your own little footsies, no less.
Currently Amanda is showcasing the "Marie Antoinette," a beautiful light blue peep-toe {though you can choose closed-toe}, custom made in France of fine lace and a heel of varying height. To be fair, I wouldn't change a thing about this style, but I kinda love knowing that with Royal Couture, the world is my shoe-loving and shoe-shopping oyster....

Here's how it works: You pick a design as a starting point... Your shoes are expertly custom designed from high-end fabrics imported from France. Each pair is either one of a kind or one of a few. You choose your size, width, open toe/close toe, heel, and platform height. Nothing is glued on. These are couture shoes and are artisan hand crafted with embellishments created by the designer herself. Really, what's not to love?
