In my opinion, one of the highlights of Bridal Market this season was the Reem Acra runway show... The looks were fresh, glamorous and most importantly, uber-inventive.
For one of my favorite looks, Reem took the illusion neckline of seasons' past and updated it with what I can only call a "body veil", a soft overlay of fabric that sat atop the dress and was peeled off {in synchronization, no less} at the show's finale to reveal stunning column gowns and mini dresses.
The layered look was a nod to a need I've seen with many of my bridal styling clients. Reem understood their call for distinct looks from ceremony, reception and after party.... and answered it with detailed, yet perfectly styled layers that created cohesive ensembles.
