On Wednesday evening, Merci New York was thrilled to attend the New York Magazine Weddings Event to preview all that's hot and hip in the NYC wedding world. The Metropolitan Pavilion was packed to the brim with the city's best planners, designers, photographers, bakers and more... In other words, everyone you need to know to plan a fabulous New York wedding.

These sure-to-swoon confetti installations are a must-see for the style-minded bride... {We loved working with them to style this neon shoot, but don't just take our word for it - the folks at Lanvin and The New York Times have also commissioned them for some of their hippest projects}.

We just love her work!

Owner Gabriella Risatti's meatpacking district loft is expertly curated with stunning finds from the likes of Marchesa, Jenny Packham and more... as well as one of a kind vintage jewelry Gabriella has sourced from estates around the country. Pair all this with a staff of in-the-know attendants who treat each bride like their best girlfriend, and well my loves, you've found yourself the perfect dress-shopping environment!

The recently-opened Wythe Hotel on the Brooklyn Waterfront is the perfect reprieve for your wedding guests. The Wythe Hotel started with the discovery of an old factory... Built in 1901 as a cooperage, they have preserved, renovated, and turned their historically industrial building into a place where people feel welcome. You just have to check it out!
