With Sandy leaving her mark on our beloved beaches, we are here to remind you that this gorgeous beachfront property is home to many beautiful memories...and will be again some day!  So take this time to forget about the current events and drift back to the days when the New Jersey shore was full of love and happiness.  This wedding, photographed by GLK Creative, will definitely bring a smile to your face with all of its gorgeous details and an adorable, fun-loving couple!

Krista and Chris have known each other forever...{seriously, their parents were in each other's weddings long before these two came around}!  After being introduced as children, Krista and Chris didn't really become good friends until they met again at Penn State University.  With their first kiss being shared on the Atlantic City beaches, Chris thought that was the perfect place for him to pop the question. The beach has played an important role in their growing relationship, so of course they opted for a beach-themed wedding in Point Pleasant!

Krista wore a Mori Lee design in ivory satin.  The sweetheart gown, with asymmetrical draping and an a-line silhouette, also included a train which was made into a triple French bustle.  She complemented the look by wearing a pearl barrette in her hair as well as her grandmother's pearl necklace.  {As this was a beach wedding... shoes were not necessary}!

The groomsmen {and ring bearers} wore black lapel Calvin Klein tuxedos with Tuscany Bisque vests and ties.  Chris, however, wore an ivory vest and tie.  Following in Krista's footsteps, the boys also went barefoot in the sand!

The ladies wore Bill Levkoff designs in chiffon strapless sweetheart necklines.

The ceremony was scheduled to take place during sunset, however mother nature stepped in and though it would be more fashionable to start late.  With a downpour lasting about 30 minutes, the guests were brought into the beach house and were able to enjoy some refreshments before the wedding took place!  Yet mother nature decided to leave a rainbow in the sky for the ceremony to take place under!  {Things sometimes work out for the best}!

While the ceremony took place on the beach in Point Pleasant, the reception was actually the following day in Allentown Symphony Hall.  Guests received their "hall tickets" from the box office which had their table assignments printed on them.  Cocktail hour took place in the orchestra hall!

Instead of a cake, the couple chose a 4-tiered cupcake display.  Callas with ivory silk ribbon were the days flowers, in bouquets, boutonnieres and as centerpieces!  Votive candles and sand were used on the tables to incorporate the beach theme from the day before.

On her wedding, Krista said: "Things may go wrong, most likely they will.  May it be little or big, do not let it frazzle you!  At the end of the day, it is not how perfect the flowers are, or that you ran out of champagne {which actually happened!} it is that you are marrying the man of your dreams, your best friend, the one you vow to share the rest of your life with.  It is about the two of you!  And this day only happens once!  Know that you will laugh about the silly things later, so just enjoy every moment as it happens!"
We couldn't have said it better ourselves...congratulations!
