It's no secret that I just adore Claire Pettibone
{granted, I fashion styled this campaign for the New York Public Library by pulling a plethora of her gowns}. So every season, I am just
so excited and wonderfully inspired to see what she has dreamed up each
season. Her collection is always wonderfully imaginative and
beautifully poetic.
Not to disappoint, Claire Pettibone's new wedding dress collection was entitled "An Earthly Paradise" -
and that it was, indeed. Elements of precious embellishment, sun-drenched color and effortless luxury set the stage for a beautifully romantic runway show, all paying homage to Claire's version of the "modern goddess"... Yes, those may sound like eloquent words, but who doesn't want to be a modern goddess on her wedding day? {I venture to guess, no one!}. Scroll down to see more of this stunning collection...
From the designer, Claire Pettibone: "Sapphire sea, and endless blue sky, the scent of sweet flowers drifting on the breeze, and a girl dreaming of her lover," these are the things that inspired her new collection.
