Priscilla and Casey met, fell in love and now live in Manhattan, so they didn't think twice about having their engagement shoot anywhere else! Photographer Paul Francis took pictures in Central Park during the day, and moved to the couple's rooftop for the night shots that displayed the beautiful New York City skyline.
"Our favorite photo is the one where Casey is swinging me in the air and it shows me hugging him. It really embodies the happiness we feel when we are together." said Priscilla.
Priscilla and Casey met at a mutual friend's birthday party. Casey had just moved to NYC from California. The two couldn't stop talking from the moment they met. They hung out the very next day and have been together ever since!
Casey had planned to propose on the beach in West Hampton, since the two arranged a weekend out there. But it turned out he just couldn't wait. He popped the question the night before when Priscilla was returning from work and packing for the trip. Naturally, they missed the train to Long Island... but what's a little delay when such an intimate surprise happened?!
The bride-to-be wore a cream lace dress and shoes from J Crew for the photos in Central Park and a fringed ivory dress from Theory paired with Ralph Lauren shoes for the night shots. Her fiancée wore a plaid collared shirt with khakis and Sperry Topsiders for the day shots in Central Park. He chose a dark blue YSL suit, Burberry tie and black John Varvatos loafers for the rooftop photos.
