For those of you who believe that everything happen for a reason
{like we do}, you’ll love the story of Marni and Chaz! Read on to hear their amazing love story, and the details behind their striking {sunflower filled} celebration at the Harbor Links Golf Course . Adena Stevens from Studio A Images was there to
capture all the stunning moments...
With a hurricane in the forecast, Chaz and Marni had thought
about cancelling their plans to Fire Island last Labor Day {separately}. However, they ventured despite their hesitations, and boy were they glad they did!
Marni had seen Chaz at a bar amongst friends and struck up a conversation {Although they had never actually met, Chaz insisted they did just to keep the conversation going}!
Marni had seen Chaz at a bar amongst friends and struck up a conversation {Although they had never actually met, Chaz insisted they did just to keep the conversation going}!
No one thought this unexpected meet and greet would turn to
anything. In fact, right before Marni
had left for the weekend her mom asked, “Why do you keep going to the bars… no
one meets anyone in a bar”.
{Just goes to show, you never know who you'll meet...or when}!
Marni wore an Allure Couture dress {gorgeous} detailed with
Vera Wang shoes, her grandma’s diamond bracelet, and a hairpiece borrowed from
a close friend {so sweet}!
Chaz and his groomsmen all wore classic tuxedos with bow ties
and suspenders {oh so dapper}!
Her bridesmaids wore various shades of browns in order to
compliment the sunflowers {Marni’s favorite flower}!
This bride and groom were married under a gazebo that overlooked the golf course as the sun set.
With bouquets, center pieces, decorations and flower arrangements all adorned with sunflowers, the Harbor Links Golf Course {which served as the location for both the ceremony and reception} popped with bright, fresh colors. The strong yellows and deep purples contrasted against the green of the course perfectly!
Bright colored flowers add another dimension to white cakes {like this one from Main Street Bakery}!
This groom certainly didn’t sit back and let his bride-to-be
handle all of the planning…Chaz {who is a graphic designer} designed the
seating chart, their website, save the date magnets, rehearsal dinner invites,
as well as take-home bags that held small bottles of champagne and chocolate
covered strawberries {what an amazing groom}!
