Well, we packed up the car and headed to NYC’s little
sister…Philadelphia, for this chic, gorgeous and not-to-be-missed wedding. Photographer Sofia Negron captured
some truly beautiful moments of Joe and Leigh at the Phoenixville Foundry {an absolutely stunning venue with modern décor inside and a rustic feel outside!}
These vintage cream and purple escort cards by Two Paper Dolls are so fun and unique ~ especially the Mad Libs inspired “Wedding Advice”
cards {which are great souvenirs for the bride and groom to hold onto}! We're obsessed with these!
Leigh wore cream Seychelles shoes and a cream and lace
Lazaro dress, which she purchased from Kleinfeld’s. Her birdcage veil, along with her red stained lips {by Salon D’Artiste} tied together a perfectly vintage-chic look!
The couple met at a Thanksgiving themed party, and while Leigh only planned on stopping in for a few minutes, she and Joe talked for a few hours about their work for the police force... {Now that is definitely something to be thankful for!}
Joe went for a more modern feel with his purple vest and
Star Wars cuff links. The
groomsmen wore steel colored vests and Lily boutonnieres, while the bridesmaids
wore grey dresses from J. Crew with a flower arrangement of purple, yellow and
cream colorways.
Inside the reception, tables were decorated with vintage lanterns and
candles along with flowers from Sommerfield Designs. Four large glass and wire trees {adorned with orchids!} were
placed around the venue as well.
The reception had not one, but two cakes! One white and purple cake for the bride
and one R2D2 cake for Joe.
