Real New York Wedding | Katie + Tim at My Moon, Brooklyn

Our sweet neighbors from the north {pass the maple syrup!} had a special influence on Katie and Tim’s stylish New York City wedding. We couldn’t wait to share the pictures photographer Jennifer Sosa captured from the Canadian flavored ceremony and reception at Brooklyn’s MyMoon restaurant. Their gorgeous wedding was the perfect union of city glamour and elegant simplicity.

Katie looked stunning in her Michelle Roth gown from Kleinfeld Bridal and flawless, barely-there makeup by Moani Lee.

 

As an ode to their guests from near and far, Katie and Tim had a basket of small American and Canadian flags. Guests were handed flags based on where they were traveling from for the wedding.

  

White casement windows refurbished by the crafty couple displayed the guest seating in chalk as a {genius} alternative to place cards. The groom also handmade and painted each table number holder and selected each of the flower vases on the guest tables. 

The couple also served Joie Farms wines from Canada made from grapes grown by the bride’s father in his British Columbia vineyard.
