A Stylist's Day in the Life | Boudoir Session Prep

So, new idea... I thought it would be fun to start sharing "day in the life" photos on Merci New York. You know, nothing complicated, just little snaps of what it's like to be a stylist... My husband jokes all the time that my job is "to make pretty, well, prettier". I laugh at it, but looking back, I always realize how blessed I am to "work" with clients {and their piles of pretty} at some of the happiest moments in their lives.

Here's a little glance at yesterday.  My Merci New York team is currently hard at work styling a boudoir session for one of our clients {it's going to be a gift to her husband.  Totally fab}.  So, I had the job of playing with my vanity props, styling them just-so, and making sure they are the perfect backdrop in her sure to be GORG shoot.  Rough day in the office, right?  ;)
