Real NYC Engagement Session | Sarah + Jordan at the Maritime Hotel {and More}

We were beyond thrilled when rock star Manhattanite photographer Carlos Andres Varela gave us a glimpse of Sarah and Jordan's e-session. The New York street-scape, swoon-worthy style, bold romanticism... we just couldn't wait to share! This session is seriously magical {hint: see Sarah's balance while sporting stiletto booties atop NYC street grates}, wildly colorful {thanks to the cabanas at the Maritime Hotel}, and wonderfully chic.
Sarah and Jordan's engagement session makes us want to throw on a pair of our favorite espadrilles, dig out a flirty full skirt, and explore New York City {preferably via boldly colored vintage bicycle}. Why?... Why not?!

About the Photographer {Carlos Andres Varela}:
Carlos Andres Varela is a New York-based wedding and fashion photographer whose work has appeared in Altar, Playboy Brazil and Washington Brides. Varela creates atmospheres using aspects of fashion, film and music, influenced by the work of artists Wong Kar Wei, Miuccia Prada and Gustavo Santaolalla. Inspired by people and environments, fortified by his travels and his native Colombia, Varela explores the intersection of interdisciplinary art with the intricacies of light. He has been a photographer for over twenty years, has studied economics and electronic design and has worked as a professional photographer since 2005. He lives in Manhattan.
