Yes, we've been slacking on the
Tuesday-Shoesday inspiration as of late... I suppose as wedding season kicked off, it was bound to happen. It's been tough to be both behind a computer and out in the field styling, shopping and designing for our fabulous brides. But fortunately, we have good friends that look out for us - like photographer
Alison Conklin.

I first met Alison last year, when we worked together on a wedding for
Lindsay Landman Events. Alison shot, I styled, and everyone had a fabulous time {including the bride and groom, who had not a ounce of worry as the team perfected the portraits, details and accents to their gorgeous wedding}. Alison is a tres-talented photographer with a wonderful eye, so when she sent us these fab outtake photos from a recent project for
Utterly Engaged, we knew they had a second life left in them. The black and white Chanel shoes were so NON-bridal and classic NYC, I immediately thought them swoon-worthy for our chic city readers. Take a peek...

Of course, the contrasting white cap toe is
so Chanel - and
so lovely. But what I love most is the true {and I do mean true} re-wearability of this chic, yet functional shoe. It has all the shining characteristics a city girl looks for: Thick {yet high} heel, versatile silhouette, and {of course} the uniform black color. Pair all this with a gorgeous white dress and polished pearls, and brides become a vision Coco herself would be proud of.
Why not shop non-evening wear shoes for your wedding? We certainly would.
