As promised in yesterday's post, we are quite excited to share Jocelyn and Joe's "Trash the Dress" session, a morning-after-the wedding trend that's been big on the west coast for years, and slowly sweeping its way into east-coast wedding style.Tammy Swales Photography woke up at crack of dawn with the freshly-wed couple and their wedding party to enjoy thie amazing light and take a dip in the {freezing?} ocean. One thing they didn't worry about? Keeping their wedding clothes pristine. Take a peek!

So what do you think? Would you have a Trash the Dress session after your wedding, or do you love your dress too much to tarnish it? Comment below and share with us!All photos courtesy of Tammy Swales Photography
her dress isn't really that trashed but if I were to have had it my way for trashing my dress, I would have done it this way. Unfortunately one too many gin and tonics had me trashing my dress on the car ride home.
ReplyDeleteI totally want to do a trash the dress sesh! I feel like I will buy a cheapo dress for it though, I don't want to ruin my real dress, but I LOVE those photos so I'd love to do that!
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT, that also the bridal party is part of the shoot!!! Great idea and something they`ll all remember forever!
ReplyDeleteI love trash the dress sessions! If they were popular when I got married, I definitely would have gone back to Grand Central to have some photos taken in the railroad tracks. Besides, after all the rain we go, my dress was already trashed after the wedding!
ReplyDeleteThe dress doesn't look that trashed but I love the location of the shoot and the capture are really nice
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! What a beautiful couple . . .
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Hmmm to trash the dress or not? If I had a shoot set up like this-- then definitely trash it! And it's not like you couldn't still salvage the dress...beautiful and memorable idea here. Love it!!
