Style File No. 5 | Focus on the Whimsical {Spring} Bride

Springtime weather may not have arrived {just} yet in New York City, but I've begun to count the signs of its arrival. My personal checklist? 1. The cherry blossoms and peonies are making their cameo at the flower market. 2. Stores are starting to breakdown their horrid winter weather vinyl entrances and 3. cafe seating is vying for a passerby to weather the wind and try their luck at an outdoor meal. Point? We're almost there!
While I haven't yet transitioned full to peep toes sandals sans stockings, that's not to say my mind hasn't been swimming in all things spring - As I work on styling a few brides for the season, deliciously whimsical details seem perfect for the season...
Here are some of Merci New York's picks for accessorizing the whimsical spring bride... 1. Beaded tulle cape by Jenny Packham, 2. Pearl Leaf Necklace by Miriam Haskell, {available at J Crew Bridal Boutique}; 3. Rene Caovilla lace booties; 4. Oscar de la Renta enamel flower earrings; 5. Lanvin Pouchette Oulala Mariage satin clutch.A Merci New York designed inspiration board, perfect inspiration to pair back to feminine lace details and a spring fete...
Floral applique details on a gorgeous Claire Pettingbone gown we had the pleasure of viewing at last season's bridal market... More Claire Pettingbone in the sweetest blush tones and a confectionery floral bolero.
Oscar de la Renta's silk-faile gown {in a striking something blue}, available at Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier.

Happy spring inspiration, lovelies!
