Today we are thrilled to share a gorgeous wedding from one of our favorite New York City photographers Alison Conklin, who also happens to shoot in Philadelphia. Even though Merci New York is a Manhattan-based blog, we particularly love the fashionable details and the ambiance of Kristin and Greg's Philadelphia wedding.
For the ceremony, Kristin wore a magnificent strapless drop waist gown with feathered skirt from Priscilla of Boston . She also added a dramatic touch to her look with a stunning ruffled bolero. With her long train and veil, she seemed like a princess as she walked down the aisle in the impressive Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul ,where the ceremony took place.
Later in day, she switched to a more whimsical look with a feathered short dress from BCBG Max Azria.
The wedding party was held at the Crystal Tea Room, a restored private banquet hall located at the 9th floor of the The Wanamaker Building, one of the first department stores in the United States. This grandiose venue is known for its hand carved columns and intricate crystal chandeliers that make this beauty timeless. We always like old spaces as they add so much charm to a reception.
