Snapshots from a Wedding | Elizabeth + Brian

Classic, elegant and springlike may be the best three adjectives to describe Elizabeth and Brian's fresh and pretty wedding, photographed by Christopher Duggan Photography. As an art historian working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Elizabeth used her expertise to create a cohesively styled fete with sweet, soft touches...

After a traditional backyard ceremony {complete with a white rose petal aisle}, Elizabeth and Brian's reception took place at the adorable Bykenhulle House Bed & Breakfast, which is located about an hour from Manhattan in Hopewell Junction, New York. The spacious and incredibly bright room was tastefully decorated with arrangements of roses, peonies and lilacs from Engaging Floral Designs.
The white, pink and navy palette was effortlessly chic and perfectly appropriate for a spring wedding. Elizabeth looked radiant in her white silk chiffon dress from Melissa Sweet, as did the bridesmaids in their pink blush Lela Rose floral dresses.
Though timelessly elegant in its overall design, Elizabeth and Brian's wedding had its share of contemporary embellishments as well. Place cards were whimsically hung with clothespins from wires between two wrought iron stands, and the guests were welcomed to cool off with a treat from a build-it-yourself sundae bar.
