A year after Elissa and Jeff's wedding {happy anniversary!}, Elissa decided to revisit their
special day and wear her gown one more time before she started the next chapter
of her life - motherhood! Elissa chose a
stunning spring day in New York City’s Riverside Park... The cherry blossoms made a
beautiful backdrop for this reminiscent shoot, exquisitely photographed by Photomuse.
Elissa wore an ivory, lace dress by Watters and Watters and
a birdcage veil headpiece by Bride’s Head Revisited. Both were beautiful pieces to wear not once but twice, which we think is a great idea for any bride... Why not relive the experience of one of the happiest days of your life and capture more memories with a styled shoot in your wedding dress?

According to Kristin Reimer at Photomuse, re-shooting wedding photos allows you to have more freedom to do what you want stylistically, and unlike your wedding, you don't have to worry about keeping to your day-of schedule. It allows you the time to showcase yourself as well as your dress in a different way, maybe even more editorialized, as Elissa did. So go ahead and put your dress back on and pretend you're on the cover of a magazine {we sure would}!

Amazing photo shoot...ooohhh those flowers! Thanks for the share.
