We love the idea of southern sensibility meets New York City chic,
so when photographer Jami Saunders shared Kelley Anne and Robert’s New York Botanical Garden wedding with us, we knew we had to pass it along. With boldly colored ties, soft pink touches,
fabulous florals {and sunglasses} we were definitely ready for a day in the garden.
The day got started at the Waldorf
Astoria where the bride had her hair styled in tousled curls by Milexy Torres and her makeup done by Kim Daly and Meg Sheehan. Kelley wore a blush Monique Lhuillier
dress paired with Fendi sandals and minimal jewelry to keep the look fresh and
simply elegant.
The couple met at a mutual friends’ wedding in Nashville,
Tennessee, where they were paired to walk down the aisle together
{Foreshadowing?... Perhaps}. The two hit it off immediately. In fact, Robert
boldly sat down to dinner with her family that same night, where he got the
“greenlight” from Kelley’s brother.
While the groom and his men donned Ralph Lauren navy linen
suits and Robert Talbott stripped ties in bright green and paisley patterns,
the ladies opted for a blush dress {also by Monique Lhuillier}. Together they made quite the spring collection! We love how their wardrobe cheerfully, yet tastefully complimented the natural beauty
of the Botanical Gardens.
A beautiful atmosphere paired with a beautiful couple sounds
like a great day to us…especially if the night ends with great dance moves!
