Merci New York in Brides New York Fall/Winter 2010 Issue

The Fall/Winter 2010 issue of Brides New York has hit newsstands, and Merci New York is thrilled to be featured inside {check us out on page 244, to be exact}! You can find our fun and whimsical "Picnic in Central Park" out-of-town welcome basket, alongside some of our other NYC-themed guest gift recommendations.
I was thrilled to partake in this project and showcase the event design and styling-end of Merci New York... We have been working on a slew of creative ideas for brides this summer, and it's quite fun to see one of our concepts hit print!

• Something Sweet: Chocolate covered espresso beans in yellow & black NYC taxi colors
• Something {Else} Sweet: NYC taxi cookie, tied to the color-coordinated espresso beans
• Something Salty: Trail mix in a custom labeled mason jar {perfect for hikes through the Central Park Ramble}
• Rolled checkered napkins with silver napkin rings
• “Poems of New York” book; a perfect picnic blanket read
• NYC subway line printed playing cards, wrapped in raffia with custom monogram {another great picnic blanket activity}
• For your hotel room: An apple travel candle {a nod to the city’s “Big Apple” nickname}
• A handwritten note from the couple {or perhaps the itinerary} written on a vintage New York postcard
• Upgrade basket: Merci New York’s signature etched champagne bottle with custom monogram
