This is so cool!

I'm planning a semi casual, wildflower-themed wedding for next August. We're getting married August 20, 2011 at the Neshanic Valley Golf Club in New Jersey. The venue itself is pretty formal--classic lines, beautiful architecture and design--but it's surrounded by all this gorgeous, lush greenery--flowers and hills. So my idea is to combine the two, something very romantic and wild, but still with a classic elegance (think: flowers in hair, pink cheeks, light makeup, simple hairstyles).

And yes, we're all confirmed, deposit in, this wedding thang is actually happening :)

What a great contest! Thank you!

I am getting married on May 14, 2011 in Brooklyn (ceremony at Brooklyn Historical Society; reception at Bubby's Pie Company in DUMBO). I have 4 bridesmaids who I am going to encourage to buy an off the rack navy blue dress that reflects their own personal style. So, I'd love for their hair and make up to be soft, natural, and in keeping with their own personal style. Words that describe my wedding are "unstructured elegance," so I want lovely hair that is soft and natural, slightly tousled, and make up that accentuates my friends' beauty and celebrates their individuality.

Dear Merci New York,

The timing of your giveaway could not be more perfect. My wedding is a mere three months away and I've been searching for talented make up artists high and low.

My fiance and I are getting married on November 13, 2010 at the New York Public Library (all confirmed). We plan to host 200+ guests for an unforgettable evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing. My inspiration for the event, my dress and my make-up look is late 50's Latin elegance. I was inspired by my Cuban heritage and am going for a glamourous pre-Castro, Havana supper club vibe. In the old pictures I found of my mother and my aunts, they were dressed and made up to the nines! Defined, matte lips, strong brows and sultry eyes were the look and I would love to recreate/re-imagine that aesthetic for my wedding.

I would love to win this contest and work with a great team of artists!
Thank you,
Lucy

Amazing! I've been searching for hair and makeup looks recently, and beginning to reach out to stylists, so this could not come at a better time!

We're getting married on June 11, 2011 at Crabtree's Kittle House in Chappaqua, NY. The cocktail hour will take place in their lovely garden, and the dinner and dancing will be in their windowed atrium room looking out on that garden. Its a lovely venue, and we've been putting together a look that matches the Garden Chic feeling.

As such, I'm looking for very understated and soft hair and makeup, reflecting my personal style. Facetime Beauty's work is really lovely - in particular, I loved the style of Ronit's wedding look. I'd like a similarly understated style to carry over to my bridal party, but with tweaks that make the look fit their own look.

Thanks so much for the chance to win this amazing package - we're so excited for a chance to win!

Hi Jessica! The bridesmaid dresses are from Two Birds Bridesmaid (http://twobirdsbridesmaid.com/) and are part of a past editorial campaign that Facetime Beauty did the hair and make-up for. Hope that helps!

I was never the girl who has been planning this day all my life. But now that it's here and the planning has indeed commenced, I am finally getting on board with what has quickly become my favorite way to pass time...or favorite way to take that all too coveted mid-day break at work...during my lunch break only, of course! And how do I take this break? By checking out, Merci, and clicking away until I find something inspiring...and today of all days, I am loving this contest!

My fiance and I will be getting married in the Lutheran Church of our Savior in Port Washington, NY on Saturday June 25, 2011. The reception following will take place at the Port Washington Yacht Club. Both of these locations are a stone's trow from the house where I grew up, so this is truly shaping up to be a home-grown affair. I live in Miami now, and his family is from Miami and South America mostly, so I envision our wedding as a day when all of my family and friends, new and old can experience my home; New York in June, on the water, in all its laid back glory, the way I picture it when I daydream.

I will have 5 bridesmaids wearing simple, knee-length, silk-taffeta, navy blue dresses that day. I would love all of our hair and makeup to look laid back, natural and gentle, whimsical, almost as if we did it ourselves...but better! I'm picturing all of us girls with hair either half pulled back or pulled up completely, similar to the pictures of Jillian and Jamie on the Facetime site.

Having these services as a part of the wedding day would be nothing short of a dream come true. I am starting to get into planning the smaller details now, from many miles away, and realizing that everything I can confirm and trust from this distance is heaven sent! Thank you for this opportunity, and the ongoing blogging...Merci helps me feel close to home as I plan from so far! :)

All my best,
Bronwen

Hi My name is Chriny Vargas. I'm getting married October 7th, 2011 at the Picnic house in Prospect Park Brooklyn. I have six bridesmaids (one over the limit but I love them all dearly) and I envision a very romantic and classic look. I love the idea of the classic 40s 50s elegance with a warm fall feel.

We just got engaged 2 months ago and we just started all the planning. I have been doing research and thinking up what my lovely bridesmaids will wear but I have yet to find something for them yet. I do know that I would love to see them in a gray or black dress.

I'm super excited about this opportunity to win!!! I looked at the snapshots on the website and loved Mandy's and Ronit's looks.

I posted the contest on facebook (Chriny.vargas@gmail.com) and twitter @RebeliousBtrfly.

My sister, Bronwen, is getting married in Port Wasington, NY on 6/25/2011. The wedding is at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior followed by the reception at the Port Washington Yacht Club. As her maid of honor, I would love to give her something special in addition to anything else she needs throughout the entire wedding preparation period. To win this gift for her and all her bridesmaids would be wonderful. She is truly an amazing sister and friend and I want nothing more than for her to have to best wedding experience.

Her vision for the bridesmaids so far is to have 5 bridesmaids wearing simple, tea-length, silk-taffeta, navy blue dresses. In terms of hair and makeup, she was hoping to have everyone look laid back and natural, as if we did it ourselves.

Thank you for providing this wonderful opportunity for all upcoming brides in 2010/2011. I know my sister would truly appreciate this gift and all of the hard work you would do for her on her special day.

Best,
Alanna

I would be honored to have my makeup done by Facetime beauty!
I am getting married on July 17,2011 at the St.Agnes Cathedral (Rockville Centre, Long Island NY). The reception is set at Chateau Briand in Westbury NY.
My ideal day wedding look is something fresh, fun and beautiful. My wedding colors have lots of pink in them, and this color would be ideal when using the makeup. All bridesmaids will have their hair up and I will have loose soft curls.
Since it will be summer, I want the makeup to be rosy, and natural BUT still defining and accentuating each person's qualities.
Thank you!!

She decided on a palette of purples and burgundies. We are four bridesmaid and her sister will be the maid of honor. So in total we're five, which is perfect!
Winning this contest will be a dream come true for my friend (and us, the bridesmaids :) I want this to be the dream wedding that we always talked about since our childhood.
Thank you Merci for such an awesome opportunity of having the dream hair and make-up for this great occasion!

My fiance and I met at two years ago at the west village restaurant where I was working as a waitress. So it is only fitting that we are now planning our 2011 west village wedding at a beautiful loft on the west side. We are inspired by old New York and we are incorporating as many vintage details as possible; from real vintage blank NYC postcards in out-of-town welcome bags to a colorful collection of vintage cake stands to display our wedding cupcakes:) I have asked my two best friends (incidentally two of the loveliest human beings I know) to be my bridesmaids. They will be wearing two distinct, gorgeous vintage dresses of their choosing. It has definitely been my priority to make the whole thing as inexpensive as possible for them - mainly just so its fun instead of a burden. Being styled by Facetime would really be such a treat. Thanks for the fun contest;)

I having a winter wedding at Battery Gardens on January 22, 2011. Everything will be white and silver with sparkling branches, birch & moss detailing and bunches of white flowers.

As for my look, I am thinking old hollywood glamour with a sophisticated up-do and a perfect glowing complexion. (I was immediately drawn to the snapshots of Jamie (Coral Gables) on the Face Time beauty concierge website and think those few images reflect the look I want -- Melissa's (NY)look as well!).

My dress is an oyster color and very fitted and I plan on rocking a 1/2 birdcage veil. Also, I will be wearing my great aunt's fur stole and long white leather gloves. That being said, I want my hair and make-up to match this elegant style.

As for my sisters, they will be wearing silver dresses and I envision them both with glossy lips and smokey eyes. (Most similar to Jillian's make-up (Palm Beach) on the Face Time Beauty Concierge website).

After visiting your website and browsing through the snapshots and images, I have no doubt that Face Time's artists and stylist will help create an amazing look and perfect my wedding day!

What a wonderful idea. I am getting married on 12/11/10 in NYC in a beautiful West Village townhouse. Our theme is that we are inviting our friends over for a party at our house (the house we wish we owned!) Colors scheme is latte and ox blood, inspired by the Monique L'Huillier gowns for bride and bridal party. This would be a wonderful gift.

Wow, I had a fun time browsing the web site for Face Time Beauty Concierge!! It would be an honor to work with them on my wedding day.

I'm getting married on Saturday, January 15, 2011 with a church ceremony at the classic St. Ann's Church in Hoboken, NJ & a ballroom reception with sweeping NYC views at Hyatt on the Hudson in Jersey City, NJ. The inspiration for our wedding is winter white wedding with a color palette of white, cream & champagne. The mood is romantic, sweet & simple.

I'm wearing the Celestine gown by WToo (bought at Lovely Bridal Shop!) which is very much romantic & simple. I'd like a loose chignon with a flower for my hair, a little like Jaimie on the web site but looser. I'd like my make-up to be soft & dreamy, perhaps a bit of shimmer for the winter feel.

My five bridesmaids are wearing a Cynthia Rowley dress, style 8011, in Smashing purple. I didn't want them in white or cream so we added some purple touches to the mix :-) I'd like each of the girls to choose their own hair & make-up look to best fit their personalities.

Thank you so much for your consideration!!!

I would like to enter my dear friend, Bronwen, in this amazing contest. She is beautiful in every way, and this package could enhance what will surely be a perfect day for her and her fiance.

She will be getting married in Port Washington, NY on June 25, 2011 at the Lutheran Church of our Savior and the reception will be held at the Port Washington Yacht Club. I have been to her gorgeous, laid back hometown a few times, and I believe her wedding day style will mirror that. Simple, understated makeup, and natural hair (either half-up or all-up) for us bridesmaids (who will be in navy blue, knee length dresses).

As a bridesmaid, I would love to win this contest for Bronwen and spoil her with the Facetime Beauty Concierge service! She would absolutely LOVE it.

On a side note, I am newly engaged myself and Merci New York is inspirational and incredibly helpful. Though I am not planning on a New York wedding, I still check your site all of the time for good ideas!

Thanks for your consideration.

Best,
Hilary

How cool!

I'm getting married on october 22nd, 2011 on Long Island at the Crest Hollow Country Club.

The place has kind of more modern/south beachy feel to it and I'd like to go for a more vintage look with a slightly modern twist. I prefer makeup that looks more natural and I'm looking into updos that with some soft curls. I like Melissa of NY NY and Jillian of Palm beach's look. I am going to have one maid of honor and many honorary bridesmaids who have meant so much to me that i want to be in my photographs. I'm looking for a clean, classic look, nothing too dramatic. Pretty, soft hair in classic updos and fresh makeup that will enhance their naturally pretty features!

thanks

I'm getting married 10/22/2011 at Crest Hollow Country Club on Woodbury Long Island. The place is grand with a south beachy feel to it, although the ceremony venue has a more intimate feel to it on the grounds.

Her wedding will be on April 30, 2011 at FEAST at Round Hill in Washingtonville, New York. We are looking for a soft, elegant romantic look to complement the overall style of the wedding. Her sister will be the Maid of Honor and she has three bridesmaids, her closests friends. She is marrying her Price Charming who will be wearing his family tartan and the groomsmen will also wear kilts. Bagpipes will be present. So to complete this overall romantic event in a whimsical setting, yours would be the final touch.

I'm serving as a bridesmaid for my friend Caroline. She's marrying her fun-loving fiance on April 30, 2011 at FEAST at Round Hill. We're fearful that the groom and groomsman might show us up, as they'll be in full-fledged Scottish apparel, right down to the kilts. To even the odds, Caroline wants a romantic look for the girls. She's already got a head of amazing curls, so I'm guessing there are some awesome things that can happen there.

What an amazing offer! And I have the perfect wedding for you! Think a real Celtic fairy tale, flowing lace, windswept curls, men in kilts!

My amazing, warm and generous friend Caroline ((letmeinterject/biggirlkitchen) is getting married in a beautiful Georgian-stule mansion on April 30, 2011. The venue is Feast at Round Hill in Washingtonville, New York. She is wearing a gorgeous ivory gown, with traditional lace overlay, and her fiance is wearing his family's tartan kilt, as are the groomsmen. The bridesmaid (including me!) are wearing lovely black tea length, a-line dresses with grosgrain ribbon detailing at the waist. The wedding ceremony is being held in the mansion's amazing garden so a soft, romantic look would be the perfect touch!

Hello,
Wow! I never win these contests, but I figured it is worth a shot to share the news of my upcoming wedding with the world. ;) Your website is really creative and unique. I would love the opportunity to win the complete NYC Bridal Styling Package and get not only my hair and make-up done, but to get to share the experience with my my honor attendants would be even better. My name is Monique Richards and my fiance's name is Hugh Smith. Our wedding will be held on 17 July 2011 at the Norman Road SDA Church in Newark, NJ. The reception will be held just about 2 miles away in the Loft at SOPAC (South Orange, NJ).

I will have 2 matrons of honor and no bridesmaids - my sister and my fiance's sister will be standing up with us during the ceremony. I would describe the ideal wedding day look for me (the bride) and the bridesmaids as timeless and natural. Our vision for the wedding day is one of simple elegance. My honor attendants will be wearing salmon charmeuse dresses with a burgundy chiffon overlay. This will just sneak peak of the reception decor color scheme.

There will be 100 guests and my fiance and I will be married in a simple (1 hr. max) ceremony in the church we both grew up attending. The reception will have good food, be fun, and a reflection of each of our Caribbean heritages (Trinidad/Tobago/Jamaica).

Our reception will be a the PW yacht club, and for this laidback setting, we are going for a laidback theme overall.

Thank you!

My fiance and I are getting married on 6/4/11 aboard the 1911 four-masted sailing barque Peking, which is permanently docked at the South Street Seaport Museum. Our late lunch reception will be at The Mermaid Inn in the East Village with rooftop drinks in the West Village in the evening. We don't have an official wedding theme but I have been explaining it as urban-nautical, especially with the seafood lunch and elegant-seafood-shack feel of the Mermaid.

My dress should be floaty and feel boat-appropriate and unstructured - the ideal is Carolina Herrera's Columbine but I am still trying to figure out how to afford it! I have four bridesmaids who are all wonderful and I am so honored to have them as part of the day. Their looks should be comfortable yet festive - definitely shoulder straps and pockets for all! We will likely go with Lula Kate so each can choose the fullness of her skirt and the style of her top.

Having our hair, makeup, and styling taken care of would be an absolute delight and a huge help with the budget, maybe even enough to make my wedding dress a possibility! We will all be getting dressed at Gild Hall, a Thompson hotel in the Financial District, in the morning for the noon wedding. Thanks so much for putting this together!

I am making this submission for Caroline Murray (biggirlkitchen/letmeinterject), who is my sister. Your company is amazing and it would be an honor if you would be at my sisters' wedding. I am her maid of honor and her bridesmaids are her closest friends. I am a stage 5 cancer survivor and my sister was so selfless in helping me and my family through my ordeal, that I would love to pay it forward. Unfortunately, since I am a single mother of two, and am disabled, I cannot afford to do this for her. I have been blessed, I can't believe I am even able to participate in her wedding, since for a time during my battle with cancer I was paralyzed. My sisters' strength and support held me when I couldn't! This request is not only for my sister but also to thank her bridesmaids(whom are her support) for all of their efforts in fundraising while I fought valiantly for 2 years to remain alive... I would love this opportunity to embrace them and pamper them, even if its for one day, for they have given me back my chance to raise my children and watch my best friend , only sister, marry her prince charming... I am at your mercy and I thank you for this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Adriane Haynes

My fiance, Caroline (letmeinterject/biggirlkitchen) and I would be absolutely blown away to win your contest. We are getting married at FEAST at Round Hill in the town of Washingtonville, NY on April 30th, 2011.

The girls are looking for a soft, romantic style to match up with the Victorian feel of the house - I think they are a little afraid the guys might get all of the attention because we will be wearing kilts.

In all seriousness, Caroline and her girls are very deserving of this prize. She gives so much of herself, to her family and friends and to me - that I believe she deserves some pampering.

She is always so caring and thoughtful and always puts the needs of others before her own, she is also buying all 5 of us bridesmaids our bridesmaid dresses and it would be soo wonderful to win this for her so she can relax and know we'll be taken care of on her big day. Please choose us! We'll be forever thankful! Shes getting married on July 9, 2011 in Jersey City, NJ.

My daughter Joey (jovitalk) is so itching to win this giveaway. Her and her 5 bridesmaids have been friends since childhood, I can't believe she is finaly old enough to get married. I only want the best for her and she is so deserving of anything and everything. I hope we win for her! Her wedding will be in NJ in Liberty State park on July 9, 2011.
